The training of specialists for the food industry are engaged mainly in average professional educational institutions. In order to become a highly qualified specialist in the sphere of the service it is necessary communication skills. In the article the structure of communicative skills including: dialog-speech, information-technological, audio-contact, analytic-administrative, mark-reflective abilities. With the purpose of evaluation of the formation of the communicative skills of the future specialists in the sphere of services there are three levels of communication skills: high, middle, and base. Pedagogical research included the following stages: establishing, search, forms, controls. The definition of the level of the formation of species of communicative skills of the future specialists in the sphere of maintenance was carried out with the participation of students in the master-classes, trainings, conferences, performance of test tasks, filling out questionnaires, questionnaires. Given the results of formation of communicative skills at each stage, which showed the effectiveness of the use of this technique.
