Event-based approach in education is actively studied at various stages of teacher-training. In respect of the reform of pedagogical education, event-based organization in teacher training is particularly important. The article examines current approaches to teacher training, providing professional pedagogical self-determination of students. It is shown that the event-based approach meets the requirements of formation of motivation, professional competences and reflection skills. The experience of realization of event-based approach in teacher training is described. The studying of the variety of approaches to the event-based educational process contributes modern preparation of the teacher.
