TO THE QUESTION ABOUT THE CONTENT OF MUSIC EDUCATION OF THE CITIZENS OF THE MODERN MULTICULTURAL RUSSIAN SOCIETY

Education, striving for personal development, should take into account the multicultural structure of modern Russian society, giving the younger generation a knowledge of promoting a harmonious personal development. The ideas of multicultural education are affected in classical pedagogy and psychology. Modern teachers considering this issue, focus n the regionalization of education, which allows to solve the problem of preparing the young person for life in a modern multicultural society, including children as to a particular culture, and the basis of interaction, mutual influence of cultures. Multicultural music education is an integral part of the process of upbringing and education of the younger generation of a democratic society, the members of which, based on knowledge of cultural values, the mentality of the representatives of different nationalities living in the neighborhood, have a strong civil position in traditions and customs, which is nationwide.
