The influence of the organization and conduct of mass sports and artistic representation for increasing children’s interest to physical education through a school PE lesson has been studied. The study involved 84 children of 9-11 years old, formed the experimental and control groups. All the pupils were from the basic medical group. Children in the experimental group were preparing for mass sports and artistic representation on their third lesson of physical training. The content of that representation was the most correlated with the basic teaching material, determined by the current planning documents of the educational process. The control group was engaged by the standard program. We have found that using these funds had a positive impact on children’s attitudes to physical education lessons, helping to reduce the number of absences.
