A comparative analysis of the diagnosis of the level of mathematical training in a group of students learned as a result of learning tasks in the final stages of studying mathematics at school and at university. Study of the dynamics of values of indicators characterizing the development of mathematical knowledge and skills performed by correlating the academic achievement of students, they have shown during the passage of the federal online exam in professional education (FEPE) on the subject «Mathematics», with the successful solution of the exercisesin the unified state examination (USE) in mathematics. Formulates the statistical hypotheses about the probability regularity and are checked with the help of methods of mathematical statistics. Changes in the level of mathematical training in a short period of time determined using measuring scales with a small number of gradations.
