RESEARCH ACTIVITIES OF STUDENTS AS A TOOL FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

Nowadays, the school system is not based on subject education but on a variety of extracurricular work, project and research activities and practice. The paper considers the issues related to the improving of the education quality by bringing students to perform scientific researches’. The students’ motivation and readiness for school experimental work is studied. The system of evaluation criteria in the interest of students to perform extracurricular scientific researches is worked out. It is shown that this type of activity can activate mental activity and realize the creative potential. The types of research activities and some matters of scientific work that can be performed by students are considered. The most interesting matter for students, especially high school students, is to study various objects of nature in statics and dynamic topics of the investigations.
