TEACHER TRAINING IN EDUCATIONAL ROBOTICS

The modern world is on the thresholdof a new technologic revolution, based on the achievements in the field of cybernetics. Robotic assistants are increasingly come into our production, but also to everyday life. Worldwide there has been growing emphasis on the robotics, including the educational and developmental potential. At the present stage of modernization of Russian education system is the inclusion of basic knowledge from the field of robotics in primary and secondary school education allow educational institutions to fully implement the requirements of federal and state educational standards of the new generation. However, implementation of educational robotics in the educational process require appropriate training of teaching staff with specialized training  in the field, prepared for innovation and research with students. The contradiction has caused by the actuality of developing the course «Theory and teaching methods the fundamentals of robotics» to the students of pedagogical institutes. The results of approbation of the course allows to state the fact that, graduates from pedagogical universities are trained for the course are in great demand in the labor market.
