FORMATION OF GENERAL CULTURAL COMPETENCE IN THE SPHERE OF LANGUAGE COMMUNICATION

The article deals with the competency passport and the program of competency formation for bachelors of education in the sphere of language communication: «speaks a foreign language at the level allowing to get and to estimate the information in the sphere of professional activity from the foreign sources» and «speaks a foreign language at the level of professional communication». The passport and the program were designed on the basis of competency approach due to the model of 2The competency passport and the program of competency formation». In the example given by the authors the structure (knowledge, skills, abilities) and the mechanisms of competency formation are formulated. The article describes the content and basic characteristics of the examined competences, point out the levels of their formation. The authors come to a conclusion that designing the competency passport and program of competency formation allows concretize the requirements for the graduates, accumulate the information about the formed competences
