The article is devoted to the question of determining the place of professional competence of future specialists in the conditions of modern Russian education. The paper presents an attempt of the Pro-analyze the General trend of reforms in the world’s education systems in the educational system of the Russian Federation. The article describes the requirements of the standard for the graduates of higher education institutions, requirements and expectations of representatives of the labour market in the modern conditions of General information, computerization and an economy in crisis. Special attention is paid to interactive and active methods of teaching as part of a single interactive teaching technologies. Shows its importance and uniqueness for the successful formation of professional competence of future specialists in the conditions of modern Russian education. Revealed contradictions and complexity of the competence approach in modern educational practice.
