COMPETENCE APPROACH AS THE BASIS FOR REFRESHER COURSE OF TEACHERS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The analysis of the problem of formation of the professional competencies of teachers of physical education, within the framework of a refresher course. Consider the point of view of these authors: Rodionova N.F., Tryapitzina A.P., Zimnyaya I.A., related to the problems of the competence approach in education. Were surveyed teachers of secondary schools, teachers colleges and universities. The survey revealed that the level of preparedness of teachers, teachers of physical education not meet the requirements of the new educational standards. It was clarified content of structural components of the professional competencies of recreational activities: cognitive, activity and motivational. Developed experimental training program, which is based on current diagnosis, accounting the individual characteristics of students, modeling of professional activity and solution of problem tasks. Conducted pedagogical experiment proved the effectiveness of the developed training programs for teachers of physical education, based on the competence approach.
