METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES FOR DETERMINING THE ESSENCE AND GOALS OF THE CIVIC EDUCATION AT MODERN SCHOOL

The article studies the particular methodological approaches determining the essence and goals of the Civic Education at modern school. It also discovers the conception of civic consciousness, the methodological basis for the formation in the pupils’ idea of public spirit duty, legal identity, inwardness and culture, initiative, independence, tolerance, also the ability of the successful society socialization and the active adaptation in the labor-market. The basic studying methods are the historical-comparative evaluation of the education research literature on the Civil Education problem, the generalization and arrangement of the theoretic material. The practical significance of the work is on the methodological substantiation of the perspective of the Civil Education development nowadays.
