The article deals with different aspects of training and development in the field of continuous foreign language education. The approaches of pupils and students training and development management are stated in the text. On basic of chosen methodological approaches the main aim is determined − person basic culture training including cognitive, social-moral, behavioral and reflexive-evaluative components. Methodological foundation for the system of person basic culture training by means of foreign language education is L.S. Vygotsky’ culture-historical concept which implies that person training is the result of person acquisition of culture and history-conditioned activity methods, value orientations, culture of communication and behavior, and methods of the world cognition. The article describes guiding line of person training and development in different levels of foreign language education: junior, middle and senior levels of the secondary school and studentp rofessional-moral training.
