The author’s pedagogical model of cross-cultural communication of students by means of socio-cultural activity projects is presented in the article. The need for successful cross-cultural communication for students is focused. The social need of high schools in theoretical basis and practical realization of socio-cultural potential of projects which may become the basis for successful cross-cultural communication of students in the sphere of extra-curricular activities is actualized in the article. The social need is the foremost thing while creating pedagogical model of cross-cultural communication of students. Taking into consideration the social need of cross-cultural communication we actualized the main aim of the pedagogical system – development of adequate cross-cultural communication of students based on free creative self-realization of all the participants of social-cultural projects.
