This article discusses the main problems of future professionals for the tourism industry, common to most universities of Russia in general and high schools of physical culture in particular. Identified the need to prepare not just theoretical, but managers armed with practical knowledge, skills and competencies, able to analyze what is happening in the moment and be original forecasts. The article identifies a number of specific issues in the mainstream of management training future professional managers. Identified the need to prepare not just of average “theorists”, but managers armed with practical knowledge, skills and competencies, able to analyze what is happening in the moment. The author notes that the transition from the old to the new educational standards. New standards set new requirements of employers to their employees. This has led to new requirements for employers to their employees. For these problems, the author proposes to use such an important element of learning as internship.
