The paper provides the definitions of the terms pedagogical communication and pedagogical communicative skills. The model of pedagogical communicative skills development of future foreign language teachers is studied. The model consists of the following parts: 1) the goals and objectives of the pedagogical communicative skills development of future language teachers; 2) the content of a foreign language course; 3) the methods, approaches and techniques of teaching a foreign language; 4) the criteria, indicators and levels of pedagogical communicative skills development. The factors leading to the pedagogical communicative skills development are studied in the paper. The results of the research are presented.
