In the article model of the method in teaching social-communicative activity for a specialist of tourist industry in the professional high school training is considered. As a result of using this method social-communicative activity of the future specialists in the field of tourism will be formed. In addition, professional tasks for a specialist of tourist industry in the field of social-communicative activity are determined and described for the key, basic and special levels professional readiness for this kind of activity. The logical structure of training content by the use of context-modular approach to education is proposed, including interdisciplinary links with other disciplines of professional training specialists in the field of tourism.
