MODELING CONTENT OF THE COURSE «INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION» FOR TECHING BACHELORS OF EDUCATION OF «ENGLISH» PROFILE

In the article the authors analyzed the curriculum of the program 050100.62 «Pedagogical Education» of the profile «the English language» and the content of the disciplines in which students study or use information technology. According to the analysis there is observed modelling content of the course «Information technology in education» as the basis for the future development in further subjects. In «Practical Phonetics» students are required to record phonetic exercises in sound computer programs, in «Сulture-through-language studies» students need to make presentations, videos and guide book in the photo editors, in the discipline “Modern means of communication» students study telecommunications - Internet, e-mail, forums, chat rooms, newsgroups, mailing lists, world wide web, video conferencing, Internet cafe, their peculiarities, history of occurrence and development, especially the organization of communication through these funds, during «Practical training» students prepare the reporting tables in a text editor, use the Internet and multimedia software for training and extracurricular activities. Thus, the course “Information technologies in education” is recommended in the 1st semester to prepare students for further study with the use of information technology.
