1 The IRO Sverdlovsk region
The paper deals with theoretical and methodological bases of students’ personal and professional development in the context of the secondary vocational education. The author defines the concept of students’ professional development and reveals the given commence structure. The main emphasis is pain on the interrelation of the level of students’ professional self – determination and social professional formation. In the author’s opinion, the outcomes of successful social professional formation depends on students’ readiness for professional career planning. The paper contains the research data analyzing the students value orientations affecting their professional formation and professional development in. The publication demostates the main activity directing of the Professional Orientation Center facilitating the professional career planning.
