This article is devoted to the education of foreign students the Asia-Pacific region in the Russian non-language universities. Relevance of the study due to current trends in the modernization of higher education in Russia. One of the most important mission of the Russian university - is to ensure the identity of the foreign students coming to study in Russia the opportunity to self-identified as a representative of an ethnic culture and tradition, to ensure the integration of the individual in the modern world civilization. These facts necessitate treatment researchers to the problem of forming a multi-cultural competence of foreign students studying in Russian universities. The article deals the experimental work on the forming of multicultural competence of foreign students in the educational space of a Russian university, implemented at the Institute for International Cooperation of the Far Eastern State Transport University.
