METHOD FOR STUDYING THE GEOGRAPHICAL REGIONAL STUDIES IN ELECTIVE COURSES BY MEANS OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES: THEORY AND METHODOLOGY

The paper presents a methodology for the use of information and communication technologies in the author’s elective course on geographic regional study «Exploring your edge ICT» for 8th grade students in the context of cultural , student -activity , competence and system approaches . The course structure reflects the unity and interrelation of substantive and procedural , and technological and organizational sides of learning objectives are formulated and substantiated elective course - the formation of information and communication geokraevedcheskoy competence. Performed pairing of its formation with the course content and the views of workshops involving complication types of tasks on the use of information and communication technologies: the teaching- reproductive, search and research and constructive, creative workshops . For each workshop highlighted technologies that are related to the classification of information and communication technologies to the field of methodological purposes. A distinctive feature of this course is the use of geographic information technologies that provide the ability to model geographic phenomena and processes that clearly demonstrate their dynamics.
