The article examines the feasibility of using «Workbook accounting» in the educational process in the teaching of accounting disciplines to form the managerial competence of future managers. The author does not claim that a good leader must be an accountant, but given that the ultimate goal of any leadership at the present time is to make profit, says the head must have a clear idea of how systematized information on the financial and economic flows of the organization. One of the most effective resources of the educational process is the workbook as a means of control of mental activity of students. The peculiarity of the information in the workbook is a symbolic form, based on the Gestalt approach to the assimilation of information. In this paper we prove the use of the workbook helps simulation environment that allows students to master the skills of modeling and strategic planning, as well as lay the foundation for future professional activities.
