HISTORICAL RETROSPECTIVE OF INQUIRY BASED LEARNING DEVELOPMENT AS A MEANS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN META-SUBJECT COMPETENCE FORMATION

Modern society is undergoing significant changes. Dynamics of changes in different areas determines the shift of geopolitical, economic, social and other conditions of life, including the education system . One of the important conceptual provisions updating the content of education in the twenty-first century becomes the competence-based approach, which leads to a new vision of the content of education, its methods and technologies. The modernization of Russian education involves the formation of key competencies of students, which provide functional literacy, responsibility in the selection of educational trajectories and self-development in all activities. The article attempts to place an objective historical process of changing educational paradigms, providing the establishment of the current state of problems connected with the organization of learning and research activities of students, which ensures the formation of meta-subject competencies. Understanding historical patterns of development of forms of organization of learning and research activities of students is extremely important for the design of effective tools for development meta-subject competence of students as genetic archetype of modern conceptions of learning and research activities of students are the ideas that have emerged under the influence of different educational paradigms, some of which appear as a basis of modern paradigm of the Russian school education.
