Ethnotourism is the most important factor of increase of educational and common cultural level of the population, broadcasting and preservation of national values. However, despite its importance, ethno-tourism, including its direction such as ethno-tourism for children and youth has not received proper distribution in our country. Current situation is caused by a variety of reasons one of which is absence of the experts capable at the professional level to provide scientific-methodical and psycho-pedagogical support of this direction. The research project of group of scientists of the Mari state university on the subject «Scientific-methodological and psychological-pedagogical support of the development of ethnic tourism for children and youth in the Republic of Mari El».
