REGIONAL ENVIRONMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SELF-DETERMINATION: DEFINITION AND MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

The article introduced the concept of “regional environment of professional self-determination”, interpreted as the educational environment of a special kind, containing a system of conditions and opportunities for professional self-determination of students and working people in the region and limited natural space professional mobility of these groups of population. The environment of professional self-determination provides for the individual the potential for its development and, on the other hand, stimulates this development, paying attention on new needs. In the article identified and justified target characteristics of the environment of professional self-determination: territorial-temporal unity, integrity and continuity; openness and integration; future orientation and innovativeness; adaptability, dominance, uniqueness. Design and creation of the environment, with the above characteristics, is the central condition for the effective operation of regional education authorities on organizational-pedagogical support of professional self-determination of students in institutions of general and vocational education in the region. In the process of forming regional environment professional self-determination should be involved not only educational institutions, but also enterprise economic sector - customers and end-users of the results of professional-orientation activities.
