Article is devoted to the modernization of the system of additional professional education. The article analyzes the current requirements for the organization and content of additional vocational adult education emphasizes socio-pedagogical meaning of additional professional education. The author proposes to examine the contents of additional professional programs from the standpoint of the formation of students’ skills to start their own knowledge and form their own ideas about possible ways to solve professional problems. The article formulates guidelines for implementing socially-oriented additional professional programs. The main content of the article is devoted to validating the organizational and pedagogical conditions sotsializatsii adults by means of additional professional education, which include: conducting psycho-educational settings androgogicheskoy diagnosis and needs of learners, identifying the existing level of professional and social competence, identify barriers to learning; orientation contents and implementation of additional professional programs on the integration of social and professional competence of adults; support post-program graduates.
