DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENTIFIC-THEORETICAL BASESFOLK ART IN RUSSIA

The article is devoted to the problem of formation of scientific-theoretical bases of national art in Russia. In this process highlighted three key areas: folklore, artistic amateurism, specific forms of art initiatives. Provides a detailed description of the basic stages of development of each direction. Treated work of scientists who made a significant contribution to the national folklore. Identifies the main achievements and failures of the analyzed stages of development, including the modern period. The author substantiates the input that qualified for forecasting and regulation of modern art processes require the establishment of a comprehensive scientific discipline – folk cultural studies. In its context could include not only folklore, but also the scientific knowledge of Amateur activities, and reflection on the experience of the development of specific forms of artistic and creative activity of non-professionals.
