NETWORKING OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AS A CONDITION FOR FORMATION OF THE CIVIC COMPETENCE OF YOUTH

The article describes the opportunities of networking of educational entities as a new approach to solve the urgent problem of education in Russia - the formation of civic competence of youth. The meaning of the term «networking» in teaching science is considered. Its main characteristics and features are defined. Integrative trends in pedagogy allowed to stand the networking model as a new educational technology, which allows to shape the social competence of students. The article notes that the joint activities of educational and social institutions can be aimed not only at improving the quality of education, but also to foster civic competence. In practice, this is confirmed by the activities of the teachers’association «The Commonwealth»- an educational network that takes advantage of its organizational model to form the civic competence of trainees. The author comes to the conclusion that the networking of schools as a new institution of civil education is the establishment of a civilized legal culture and the relationship models that effectively influence the formation of civic competence.
