В настоящей работе предпринята попытка комплексно проанализировать роль и воспитательную функцию истории в формировании молодежи с активной гражданской и патриотической позиций. Актуальность темы определяется перспективными задачами педагогической науки, исходящими из необходимости всестороннего научного проникновения в проблему профессионального образования и требует своего научного решения в исследовании педагогических условий для профессионального воспитания. Необходимо совершенствовать формы и методы обучения, активнее приобщать обучаемых к работе с различными источниками знаний, вырабатывать самостоятельность мышления, проявлять творческую активность. В реализации этих задач важная роль принадлежит предметам общественно-гуманитарного цикла. Одним из необходимых условий прочных и глубоких знаний, развития мышления обучаемых является установление межпредметных связей, включение вновь изучаемых фактов и понятий в имеющуюся у студентов систему знаний, посредством таких нравственных категорий, как патриотизм.

In this paper we attempt to analyze comprehensively the role and the educational function of history in educating youth with an active civic and patriotic attitude. Relevance of the topic is determined by the prospective tasks of pedagogical science, coming from the necessity of comprehensive scientific penetration into the problem of vocational education and requires its own solutions to the scientific study of educational conditions for professional training. It is necessary to improve the forms and methods of teaching, actively impart the trainees to work with different sources of knowledge, develop independence of thinking, develop creative activity. In implementing these objectives the important role belongs to the subjects of social and humanitarian series of disciplines. One of the required conditions for strong and deep knowledge of students’ thinking is the establishment of interdisciplinary linkages, inclusion of the newly studied facts and concepts in the students’ existing knowledge systems through moral categories such as patriotism.
